Welcome to the World of Quest for Glory A land of subtle beauty and great danger. The island of Marete has been invaded by an army of mercenary soldiers. Fearsome monsters roam the countryside. Not even the fortress walls of the city can keep Silmaria safe from the assassin's poisoned dagger. This world needs a Hero. It needs you. You want Action? Draw forth and sharpen your sword. It is time again to grab your shield, and prepare to go to battle. You will make the monsters howl, and bring the mercenaries to their knees. You are a Warrior. You want Suspense? Ah, but the thrill of battle does not fill your veins with fire? Perhaps you prefer the power of a well-placed magical spell. Come study with wizards, and learn new spells. Summon Fire, Lightning, and Ice to do your bidding. You are a Wizard. You want Wealth Beyond Your Wildest Imagination? Then again, perhaps you have little interest in saving the world. After all, what's in it for you? Let's just say that in Silmaria, you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your lockpicking and stealth skills. There's a lot of wealth in this city, just yours for the taking. After all, you are a Master Thief. Where's your Spirit of Adventure? Silmaria is a magical land swathed in the glory of classical Greece and the enchantment of an island resort. There are people here who need your help, and those who will help you. You'll meet old friends like the Liontaur Paladin, Rakeesh, and Erasmus, the powerful and eccentric wizard who will assist your heroic actions. You'll have an opportunity for amusing flirtation (and possibly even romance) with the person of your dreams. Even a Hero's gotta have a life sometime. What is Quest for Glory V Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire is a Role-playing Action-Adventure game. You can select the character of your choice, customize the character's skills and ability, and build him or her up to become the finest Hero in all of Silmaria. Dragon Fire can be played either by yourself, or over the internet with friends. With so many character types and skills to choose from, and a story that changes depending upon your actions, you will be playing this game over and over again, just for the fun of it. Come to Silmaria. It's an experience you'll never forget. Silmaria is a beautifully rendered 3D panoramic landscape, as you can judge from the images on these web pages.
